“This is one of the first apps on the App Store, from 2008. I wrote it to learn iPhone development, but it ended up being useful for many people. A few years ago it got a complete rewrite in SwiftUI.”

FAQ

How do I start and stop the clocks?
When you tap on one clock, the other one starts (like hitting the button above a clock on a physical chess timer). If you tap on both clocks at the same time, both of them stop.
How do I set the times?
Tap the clock icon in the lower left to open the time set screen. From there you can set the time for each player, or choose a preset which applies to both clocks.
How do I change the clock mode?
Tap the info icon in the lower right to open the settings screen. From there you can choose between different clock modes including standard, Fischer, Bronstein, and simple delay. You can also toggle between analog and digital clock faces.
How do I get rid of the ads?
Unfortunately the App Store has moved past up-front payments for individual apps. When I charged money for it, no one bought it, so ad-supported is the only mode supported by ChessClock at this time.
